Most of Ken Massey’s three-decade career has been spent in healthcare philanthropy, the area he focuses on at BWF as well. His expertise focuses on building and leading comprehensive fundraising programs for mission-driven nonprofits, and he has extensive experience in organizational assessment and program development involving start-up and turnaround situations. He also regularly serves in interim staffing roles during leadership transitions so an organization’s team and development leadership can stay focused on priorities and keep working toward its mission.
The opportunity to work with individuals to help them build upon their strengths and talents and achieve their potential is a driving force for Ken. He is inspired by nonprofits/philanthropic organizations for their commitment to make a sustainable, positive impact on the communities they serve.
“There is no limit to what a man can do or where he can go if he doesn’t mind who gets the credit.” (From a plaque President Reagan kept on his desk)
When not focused on philanthropy, Ken enjoys reading and traveling.
