Emma Hinke has built an impressive knowledge base of data science and research, which paved the way for new opportunities for her in the advancement sector. She is inspired by philanthropy’s ability to add benefit to anyone’s life, both directly and indirectly, through a vast array of touches such as a scholarship or a cutting-edge treatment.
At BWF, Emma’s core responsibilities lie in prospect development and campaign planning. Her projects involve predictive modeling, campaign feasibility studies, portfolio optimization, performance metrics, wealth screening and capacity analysis. This work has led to the development of new methodologies, allowing organizations to do more with less—an extraordinary example being a $2 million gift as a result from a planned giving model-based mailing list.
Emma is an active volunteer and has served as former president of Apra MD and former chair of the Apra Data Analytics Symposium and Apra Data Science. Today, she is a Data Science Committee member of Apra. She also has a passion for equestrian sports; she often spends her free time eventing and jumping.
