At BWF, Kaitlin Mickelson is responsible for data visualization, data analysis, and business intelligence strategy, which is a perfect fit for someone whose mission is to use data to bring unseen patterns to the surface so that others see their world in a new way. She believes that knowledge can inspire and empower people and enriches our lived experience. Transforming data into insights that help people make more informed and confident decisions fuels her work.
And working in the fundraising field is ideal for Kaitlin. For her, nonprofits’ commitment and dedication to strengthening communities, easing suffering, and providing resources to those in need is the truest expression of humanity.
Prior to joining BWF, Kaitlin was the senior research quality analyst at the University of Minnesota Foundation. Through that position and the others before it, she gained a wealth of experience with data visualization, analytics, and prospect development strategy.
