Leigh Petersen

Leigh Petersen believes our world is genuinely improved due to the kindness, passion, and tenacity of our nonprofit community and is inspired by their missions that impact the world through innovative technology, groundbreaking research, and diverse conversations.

Leigh brings over 15 years of experience in advancement operations, database planning, and integration, as well as operational and process improvement. At BWF, she helps organizations break complex problems into bite-sized pieces and ensures that operational improvement and change management support the overall mission and organization culture. Leigh is grateful to provide technology solutions that not only improve an organization’s operations, but also make a significant difference for their donors, volunteers, and staff.

Leigh serves as treasurer for Connally High School Band Boosters, as well as actively volunteers with Lasagna Love, Central Texas Food Bank, and Classic Canines. Additionally, she is a member of Austin Agile and Austin’s Salesforce Community Groups. Her favorite pastimes include camping in her tiny RV with husband and stepson, running trails, singing with Austin Community Choir, and supporting local animal organizations.
