Stephanie Hughes has spent over 20 years building her expertise in the nonprofit industry. Driven by a desire to support the welfare of others and help contribute to the greater good of society, she draws inspiration from those organizations and individuals who strive to prevent and solve social problems and transform their communities.
As a senior research services associate with BWF, Stephanie assists in conducting research for projects including prospect verification, prospect identification, and in-depth profiles.
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” St. Augustine
Stephanie is an active volunteer, assisting organizations such as the Grand Rapids Ballet Company, ArtPrize, March of Dimes, and Habitat for Humanity. She has also served as a president of APRA-Michigan (Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement).
When she’s not conducting research, Stephanie and her husband love to travel, attend live music performances, and go biking. As an avid reader, she is never without a book in her bag and a stack of books waiting on her nightstand. She developed an obsession with French Bulldogs after adopting one 4 years ago and follows more Frenchies than people on social media.
