With over 15 years of experience in philanthropy, Shawnta Williams is an innovative and skilled professional specializing in the areas of data, systems, and operations. Because nonprofit organizations challenge her perspective on what is important in the world, Shawnta is driven by her passion for working behind the scenes to contribute to a greater cause. As she sees it, nonprofit causes and missions can change the trajectory of a person’s life, and thereby change the world.

At BWF, Shawnta is a solutions partner focused on data optimization for fundraising operations and systems. She works with clients to implement best practices and optimize their data for accurate and comprehensive reporting. She has experience in streamlining processes and data across multiple departments including finance, development, and marketing to identify gaps and redundancies. Shawnta thrives on using her expertise to allow organizations to reach beyond their goals to undiscovered possibilities.

When she’s not helping organizations optimize their data, she is an active volunteer attorney for Atlanta Legal Aid and a volunteer wish granter with Make-A-Wish Foundation in Georgia. Shawnta loves reading, spending time with her two sons, and enjoying foodie experiences with her husband.
