Josh Birkholz, CEO of BWF, is pleased to welcome Steve Birnbaum to its seasoned team of philanthropy professionals. A sales and marketing executive with deep experience in the nonprofit and technology sectors, Birnbaum will coordinate solution selling for BWF’s rapidly growing and innovative suite of services that empower development programs around the globe. As a devoted professional committed to the mission of nonprofits, Steve will drive forward partnerships with our clients to expand and enhance the effectiveness of their fundraising and related operations.
For more than twenty-five years, Birnbaum has worked with philanthropic organizations, with a focus on the processes and technology surrounding fundraising, membership, and communications. Most recently, he was a partner at SofTrek Corporation, a cloud software provider for charities based in Buffalo, NY, where he oversaw sales, marketing, and client solutions. Prior to SofTrek, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Jacobson Consulting Applications, a New York-based firm providing strategic technology guidance and analytics software. Steve served on the Capital Health Foundation Board during its campaign to build a new state-of-the-art hospital facility in Hopewell, NJ. He currently advises the Princeton Gerrymandering Project, based at Princeton University, on issues related to growth, communications, and stewardship. A graduate of Vassar College, Steve lives in Princeton with his wife and three children.
