Joshua LaBorde is passionate about applying his diverse operational experience and technical skills at mission-driven organizations. While serving the philanthropy field for over a decade, he has seen firsthand the power and potential of people coming together and contributing to delivering on life-impacting—and often life-changing—missions. Getting to work with people who care so much about making a difference inspires him and his work.

Since joining BWF in 2021, Joshua has served clients ranging from healthcare organizations to private colleges, major universities, and various nonprofits. As an executive partner, he currently supports clients by providing strategic leadership counsel and coaching. His prior BWF work included developing innovative products and service offerings to advance the industry and meet clients’ needs. He also partnered with clients on deploying best practices, realizing process optimization, leveraging data and technology, and maximizing the return on their systems and operations investments.

As a practitioner, Joshua has distinguishing himself through many accomplishments, including optimizing and transforming technology ecosystems, designing and deploying an award-winning Employee Giving portal, and introducing advanced analytics into advancement programs. Joshua has also earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential and a Certificate in Fundraising Operations from Rice University.

A recognized thought leader in nonprofit data and technology, Joshua frequently speaks on emerging trends and innovation and actively volunteers with industry organizations, including the Association of Advancement Services Professionals and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, where he serves as associate dean of the Madison Institute Operations Track.
