For Erica Allen, it’s deeply important to her that her work helps move the world forward and allows her to see the effect she has on the lives of others. Her daily motivation is rooted in the knowledge and understanding that someone’s human experience will be changed for the better. Even though she knows philanthropic endeavors can be hard work, she is inspired by nonprofits’ passion for their missions and their tireless efforts to deliver on their promises.  

While building her professional career, Erica has continued to cultivate high-value, long-term partnerships and drive mutual growth for her clients across industry sectors. As a director at BWF Zuri, Erica’s areas of focus center on donor relations, engagement, stewardship, and experiences. Her strengths lie in her vibrant energy, big picture thinking, curation of innovative strategies, and her personal mission to ensure each concept and deliverable she develops is intentional and actionable. 

In her free time, Erica enjoys watching NFL football (she’s a big Buffalo Bills fan) and live sports in general, attending concerts, reading contemporary romance, finding the best gluten-free food, visiting Walt Disney World, and walking and hiking.
