Working Smart in 2015

As your organization works to secure transformational major outright and planned gifts this year, work smarter, not just harder.

A recent study by the Science of Philanthropy Initiative found that only 29% of organizations routinely evaluate their fundraising methods. Further, organizations that increased their fundraising results were more likely to routinely evaluate their methods than those that decreased or had no change (see the full report here).

Regularly assessing your programs, staffing, and systems in support of your fundraising goals is necessary for growing and sustaining your organization’s impact, but it can be an overwhelming process.
