As health systems continue to pursue mergers, affiliations, and structural consolidation, advancement organizations are increasingly required to integrate disparate CRM platforms, data models, and operating structures.
This session brings together leaders from Intermountain Foundation and MaineHealth to share practical lessons from navigating these transitions.
The discussion will focus on key decision points, trade-offs, and operational challenges associated with database consolidation and system integration, with the goal of providing relevant insight for organizations at various stages of similar efforts.

Courtney Bloniasz, MaineHealth, Manager – Philanthropy Analytics and Strategic Operations
Courtney Bloniasz is a strategic philanthropy professional at MaineHealth, where she focuses on operations, analytics, and strategic projects that strengthen fundraising and advance patient care initiatives. Courtney is currently overseeing the consolidation of 10 Blackbaud databases this fiscal year in addition to building MaineHealth’s first data governance strategy. A graduate of Northeastern University’s Roux Institute, Courtney earned her master’s in analytics. Previously, Courtney worked as a frontline fundraiser in higher education.
Nina Emmi, MaineHealth, Senior Director of Philanthropy Services
Nina Emmi serves as Senior Director of Philanthropy Services at MaineHealth, where she provides strategic leadership for system-wide philanthropy operations. In this role, Nina oversees core functions including annual and planned giving, donor relations, analytics, events, systems, and prospect research, ensuring operational excellence and donor-centered best practices across the organization. Prior to MaineHealth, Nina spent several years at the fundraising technology company, GiveCampus, and served in a senior fundraising role at her alma mater, Bates College.
Nancy Gregovich, Intermountain Foundation, VP, Foundation Operations
Nancy serves as VP of Foundation Operations for the Intermountain Foundation. She joined Intermountain in 2014 following the consolidation of 16 local foundations into a single organization, where she led efforts to centralize and standardize key back-office functions, including consolidating seven donor databases and building a centralized team of specialized development professionals. Following Intermountain’s 2022 merger with another health system, Nancy again helped lead the successful integration of nine additional foundations into one unified model. Today, she oversees a broad portfolio of system-wide operations, including budget management, compliance, policy and audit management, gift services, data analytics and predictive modeling, donor and prospect management, purchasing and accounts payable, contract management, caregiver onboarding and payroll services, and strategic planning and implementation.
Bryan Spratt, Intermountain Foundation, Director of Philanthropy Systems
Bryan Spratt is the Director of Philanthropy Systems at Intermountain Foundation, where he leads initiatives to strengthen data governance and streamline fundraising data operations. He has played a key role in establishing a Data Governance Committee, merging two databases over the last year, and standardizing data and gift processing from 10 separate foundation systems into a single, unified standard. With over seven years at Intermountain, Bryan has also served as Gift and Data Services Manager and Senior Data Analyst. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Utah Valley University and a Master’s in Healthcare Management from Colorado Technical University.
