The International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) had a successful development program, but leadership suspected that they were maxed out with their current resources, including staff, and were therefore not able to capitalize on certain opportunities.

Leadership wanted to know both how much the organization could grow and the best path forward for that growth.

To meet those objectives, the organization reached out to BWF for a comprehensive development assessment. In addition to interviews with leadership, staff, board members, and major donors to fully understand the current state of the operation and the desired direction, the assessment included data analytics, wealth screening, and a donor engagement survey.

BWF hit it out of the park. It's good to know a powerhouse firm like BWF can help smaller organizations.

BWF’s comprehensive assessment demonstrated that IOCDF is well-positioned for growth and laid out the path forward. IOCDF received a final report that addressed key areas of the operation—structure and organization, individual and major giving, corporate and foundation support, prospect identification and development, stewardship, digital engagement, and board capabilities—and provided staffing and practice recommendations along with the roadmap for implementation.

The report and roadmap were well received by board members and the executive director, who are now having more robust conversations about fundraising than before and are likely to move forward with an investment in their fundraising program.

The International OCD Foundation utilized the campaign planning service offered by BWF.
