Sarah Viscardi

Sarah Viscardi is driven to work in this industry because she has witnessed the tremendous impact nonprofits have made, and continue to make, in their communities. She has built her impressive professional skillset through her experiences working with global nonprofits and those in the higher education and healthcare sectors. These nonprofits have inspired her with their missions, whether they were responding to natural disasters, educating the underserved, or delivering healthcare to a community. She finds it incredibly fulfilling, both personally and professionally, to support these missions.

As a director within the campaigns and fundraising strategy division at BWF, Sarah uses her deep experience as well as her strong skills in communications, public relations, and program coordination in working with clients. With each engagement, Sarah brings her infectious optimism, collaborative approach, and productive mindset to help clients achieve success and growth.  

Sarah serves as a giving volunteer for Vanderbilt University, her undergraduate alma mater, encouraging annual engagement from her classmates. She also led the awarding of local and global grants for her church. Prior to joining BWF, Sarah spent over five years coordinating volunteer programming for a regional hospital.   

Outside of work, Sarah’s passions include spending time with her husband and two teenagers, travel, college sports (especially the SEC), professional sports (especially ice hockey and Formula One), reading, and Broadway productions.
