Karin McDowell
Karin McDowell is inspired by the countless brilliant and dedicated people working together within each nonprofit to accomplish their missions. She believes we all have the capacity to help, and she seeks to use her skillset, professional experience, and creativity to improve the world.
With over 10 years of experience in the philanthropy field, Karin has developed strong skills in change management, data analytics, and communications. As a director of prospect development, Karin applies her skills and expertise to help clients with relationship management, donor research, and pipeline and portfolio health.

Outside of her work with BWF, Karin was one of the co-founders of the Bloom Community School. She has also been a dog foster parent and served as an American Giants Museum volunteer docent.
In her free time, Karin enjoys reading, quilting, crocheting, and exploring local trails with her husband and her dogs, Louie and Sheldon.
