Alysa Poindexter

Annual Giving and Digital Marketing Coordinator II

Philanthropy inspires Alysa Poindexter because of its ability to turn ideas and care into action. Her grandmother planted this seed in her family early on because she deeply believed in giving back and being generous. Her grandmother lived to be 106 years old, and her example showed Alysa that service and giving are lifelong commitments.

Alysa is driven to help create meaningful impact through her professional work, which connects strategy with service. At BWF, Alysa is an annual giving and digital marketing coordinator. In this role, she provides strategic, creative, and project management support to clients while also ensuring high-quality deliverables, efficiently and within budget. In addition, she assists in developing strategic briefs, creating digital-first content, managing the production of campaign assets, and analyzing campaign results.

I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver. Dr. Maya Angelou
