Amanda Cole

Director of Implementation Services

Amanda Cole is inspired by how nonprofits and philanthropic donors turn shared values into real impact in communities. She finds great personal fulfillment in her ability to play a small role in work that genuinely helps others.

As a director of implementation services at BWF, Amanda’s area of focus is helping colleges and universities implement Slate at their institutions. Along with her strong background in advancement services leading Slate implementations and optimizations, Amanda prides herself on building strong systems, improving processes, and supporting meaningful relationships.

Amanda’s motivation derives from finding ways to make work easier and more effective for her clients. She strives to create more practical, efficient systems that people will want to use so the nonprofit teams can focus their energy on more meaningful engagement activities and advancing the mission of the organization, not on processes.

When she’s not helping clients with their systems, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family on their fourth-generation farm where they have cows, pigs, chickens, and ducks, and where they boil maple syrup. She also finds joy in “grandma” hobbies which include quilting, crocheting, and canning/preserving food as well as exploring her family genealogy. In the fall, Amanda and her family spend weekends cheering for University of Michigan and Detroit Lions Football.
