Phoenix Children’s Foundation (PCF) uses dashboards and analytics to inform its fundraising efforts. The Foundation wanted to implement a business intelligence platform that would automate report generation and expedite accessing information in near real time.
To accomplish this important goal, PCF turned to long-time consulting partner BWF. The initial assessment covered the current state of reporting, which then informed the development of a plan to move into a sophisticated business intelligence environment. The assessment included a review of the institutional metrics used to measure fundraising and staff performance as well as an evaluation of current reporting availability, technology utilization, and impactful visualizations of data.

The assessment report showed PCF what a data-informed organization looks like from a culture, technology, and operational point of view and provided an overview of how the organization could approach strategy and problem solving. Out of that engagement came a multi-year, progressive technology roadmap and a sustainable business model to advance fundraising through business intelligence and data science.
