Michael Burdett

Proposal Writer

Michael Burdett enjoys discovering innovative ways to support the important missions of clients in the philanthropy industry. The intense dedication nonprofits have for accomplishing their visions inspires Michael in his daily work.

As a former English teacher, Michael has a passion for language and is highly skilled at weaving together a strong, compelling narrative. Both are crucial in his role at BWF as a proposal writer, where he focuses on constructing thorough, high-quality proposals tailored to each client’s specific needs. As a part of this role, he also serves as a key driver and supporter for the overarching sales process.

Without experimentation, a willingness to ask questions and try new things, we shall surely become static, repetitive, and moribund. Anthony Bourdain

When he’s not actively writing, Michael is an ESL (English as a Second Language) tutor at South East Asia Center. He also loves watching movies, playing board games, and cooking.
