In January of 2022, St. Petersburg College (SPC) launched the leadership phase of an ambitious $30 million to $40 million comprehensive campaign. SPC decided to retain an outside communications partner to provide the overarching strategy, core messaging, creative platforms, and timely communications counsel.

The initial project was the development of a case for support for the leadership phase to be used by administrators and fundraisers. The work then pivoted to creating an overarching communication strategy and developing the actual communications collateral for the public launch of the campaign.


Our collaboration with BWF meant that we were confident our communications and messaging were on point and consistent. We were able to concentrate on fundraising knowing we had the communication strategy covered.

SPC received a communications strategy focused on four core messages and the platforms to distribute those messages to key target audiences along with content development and graphic design for a central case for support, supplemental cases for support, proposal templates, and a handful of digital marketing platforms including e-newsletters. Implementation of the campaign communications plan is ongoing.
