Josh Birkholz, CEO of the global fundraising consultancy Bentz Whaley Flessner (BWF), and Mark Marshall, President of Philanthropic Counsel, are excited to announce the promotion of Chris Clark to Senior Vice President of Philanthropic Counsel and Dennis Prescott to Senior Vice President of the Executive Partners program. Clark and Prescott will provide leadership to established and growing teams of fundraising consultants guiding campaigns, building programs, serving interim executive and management roles, and transforming the landscape of philanthropy around the world.

Clark, a seasoned professional and innovator in fundraising next practices will guide the full-time consulting professionals serving nonprofits across sectors. This growing team of North America-based professionals represent the thought-leaders empowering the production of billions of dollars in philanthropy around the globe.

Prescott, a three-time chief development officer in U.S. Higher Education, will coordinate and grow the highly respected Executive Partners team. These thoroughly credentialed former development chiefs and future-facing fundraising engineers are committed to making a truly significant mark on the nonprofit world through exceptional leadership consulting.

Chris ClarkChristopher A. Clark is a managing associate at BWF where he works with leading independent schools, liberal arts colleges, research universities, health systems, and social services organizations. His emphasis is on campaign readiness, annual giving, alumni relations, major gifts, and developing extensive volunteer programs. His work focuses on identifying program integration opportunities, effectively training and deploying volunteers, and understanding culture to create captivating and effective stories while interpreting data so that the constituent engagement feels personal.

Dennis PrescottDennis A. Prescott is an executive associate with BWF. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Prescott was the vice president for advancement and president of the New Mexico State University Foundation. Previously, Dr. Prescott served as vice president for university development at Baylor University, vice president for external affairs at Mississippi State University, and CEO of the Mississippi State University Foundation. He has been responsible for organizing and executing multiple successful fundraising campaigns.
