Nick J. Perlick
is an Associate Vice President at BWF with a breadth of experience in higher education, healthcare, and collegiate athletics where he has lead teams and campaigns ranging from $20 million to $2.5 billion. Nick served Vanderbilt University as Assistant Vice Chancellor, overseeing fundraising across VU’s undergraduate colleges and Commodore Athletics during the leadership phase of their campaign. Nick also served as the Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the Foundation at Eastern Kentucky University where he launched the institution’s first $50 million campaign. While at EKU, Nick worked to reshape the Foundation Board’s membership and policies and to establish the body as an active partner in advancing the university, tripling annual fundraising for the institution and achieving EKU’s two highest fundraising years on record.
Throughout his career, Nick has focused on building high performing teams and establishing organizations for enduring philanthropic success. He is especially passionate about exceptional board governance and volunteer leadership in philanthropy as well as the essential role of management and organizational culture to achieving fundraising success.
Nick earned a bachelor’s in political science from Bethany College and a master’s in higher education administration from Florida State University.
