Jennifer A. Svihus a senior associate with an emphasis in healthcare, higher education, and independent schools. With 30 years of fundraising and nonprofit leadership experience, her work focuses on campaign readiness, feasibility/planning studies, major and principal gift strategy, advancement assessments, and building processes for comprehensive fundraising strategy and accountability.
Jennifer served most recently as executive director for fundraising at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, where she oversaw major giving programs and developed a physician focused grateful patient program. Prior to that, she was vice president of philanthropy for Sutter Health Valley Region and associate vice chancellor for development at University of California, Santa Cruz. An active member of AHP and AFP, Jennifer has served on the AFP National Awards Committee and the AFP Regional Membership Committee. She has also taught courses on fundraising for AFP. Jennifer holds a BA from University of Pacific in Stockton, CA and a MBA in Healthcare Administration from Chapman University.
