Doug Hasbrouck is a senior associate in the Washington, DC, office of Bentz Whaley Flessner and is a member of the higher education practice. With over 30 years of management and fundraising experience, he has worked with extraordinary institutions at all stages of annual, capital, and comprehensive campaigns.
Prior to joining the firm, he spent 12 years in the development program at Bryn Mawr College, where he established the first development program for the College’s graduate social work school. He was an active leader during Bryn Mawr’s Challenging Women campaign, and as Associate Chief Development Officer, he led planning for the College’s Defy Expectations campaign. Previously he served for almost a decade at Swarthmore College during two of their record-breaking campaigns.
Doug specializes in building strategic relationships across institutional boundaries. A dedicated coach and mentor, he is an active leader at CASE conferences and other professional associations, and is a graduate of Hampshire College.
