John S. McConnell

John McConnell is a managing associate at Bentz Whaley Flessner where his expertise is in campaign and advancement planning and implementation, major gift strategy development, benchmarking and best practices, and training institutional leaders, staffs, and volunteers for advancement roles.

He has 25 years experience in institutional advancement and consulting, and has served such institutions as DePauw University, Purdue University, University of Alberta, and University of Denver.

Mr. McConnell received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from DePauw University, a Master of Arts in Economics and a Certificate in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Michigan. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
